Buy threaded inserts & 1-1/2” long hex machine screws and wrench.
Fabricate leveling “jacks”
ATTACH CLEATS TO HOLD BOTTOM OF PANEL IN PLACE.
Find box for tools. Take picture; print 2 copies; leave one in suitcase.
Make paper template of panel – 36 x 52,
PACK CAMERA, PHONE, CHARGER,

SET UP CAMERA for documentation
Uncrate panels; set on foam or bubblewrap, facing wall.
Glue foam to backs of mounting holes.
VERIFY DIMENSIONS OF NICHE – SHOULD BE 56” BY 15’-5” (185”)
Measure and make lines on niche with chalk line.
Set L-scrws at 54-1/2” height (54 +2-1/4 + 1/4”). Turn sideways to allow panels to fit snugly
Measure and mark left and right sides, leaving ½” margin.
Mark location for center panel
Set shim/adjustment boards in place along bottom of niche and secure with screws.
APPLY DAUBS OF GLUE TO BACK OF PANELS.
Set panels in place, beginning with center
Adjust vertical, horizontal and depth positions, using lag screws, shims, pry bar, hammer and hex head screws.
Use putty to hold tesserae over mounting screws.
SHUT OFF CAMERA AND DISMANTLE
Allow glue to dry overnight before releasing pressure from shims.
Photograph complete installation.
Pack tools and other gear. Brush clean.
Note to GC - On Wed. Nov. 7th, we have arranged to have the one large mosaic crate delivered to the job site. We will need CBI to have a fork lift available to move the mosaic mural crate off the delivery truck and into the building. We will also need an 8' or 10' ladder available for general installation purposes, from Nov 7th thru the 9th. (Don, please confirm)
