Memo to Craters and Freighters:
Your crating rate is low, compared to other quotes received. This isn’t a bad thing!, but I want to assure that packing be super secure, as this series of mosaics represents nine months of hard work and 3 months of planning. If there’s anything that can be done to provide an extra degree of safety – beyond “standard”, I would like to include that service in your quote.
I need to be able to disassemble the crate with a screw gun, as I will be flying to job site without a bunch of tools. Is that the way you normally build your crate? If not, what would be the supplementary charge. Of course I don’t need to disassemble every last bit of the crate(s), but enough to remove the panels.
What assures that crate rides vertically, with no chance of others being stacked on top in the truck?
